Crypto Payments

If you accept crypto payments using CoinRemitter, you must know that there are two types of fees: Transaction Fees and Processing Fees.

The processing fee is the same for all currencies: 0.23% of the withdrawal amount. However, transaction fees vary based on the network. Transaction fees can be low for some currencies, but relatively high for others. Many business owners should be searching for ways to reduce transaction fees.

Here, we’ll show you the possible ways to reduce transaction fees on this crypto payment processor.

Possible Ways to Reduce Transaction Fees on This Crypto Payment Gateway

Gas Station

This feature is available for three cryptocurrencies as of October 2025: Ethereum, Binance Coin, and USDT. You can enable this feature to reduce the fees by up to 60% on these currencies. Below is the comparison table of transaction fees with and without the Gas Station:

CryptocurrencyFees (Without GS)Fees (With GS)
Binance Coin0.0008 BNB0.0005 BNB
Ethereum0.0001 ETH0.00006 ETH
USDT-ERC205 ETH2 ETH
USDT-TRC205 TRX2 TRX

How it Works

To enable the Gas Station, you have to purchase the premium membership of this crypto gateway. After that, you will be able to turn on this feature.

To enable this feature, you have to go to the Gas Station tab from the dashboard. Then, you will have three options: Ethereum, Binance, and Tron. Then you have to enable the GS separately for all these options.

Below is the list of GS wallets with their supported currencies:

  • Ethereum: ETH and USDT-ERC20
  • Binance: BNB
  • Tron: USDT-TRC20

After enabling this feature, you will see unique wallet addresses. Here, you have to deposit a balance in advance to pay gas/transaction fees.

Once you enable the feature and deposit the GS balance, the feature will be activated. During an incoming transaction, the gateway will automatically deduct the fee amount to pay transaction fees. By paying the gas fees in advance, you can save up to 60%. This can be helpful if you regularly accept payment in crypto.

A Few Considerations

  • This feature is available only for four currencies.
  • The fees listed in the table are as of October 2025 and are subject to change in the future.
  • You must maintain a minimum balance to use this feature. Failing to do so will automatically disable the Gas Station, and the fee without GS will be considered.
  • In the event of an insufficient gas balance, you will need to manually turn on the Gas Station after depositing the required balance.

2. Bulk Withdrawals

The Gas Station causes a significant reduction in fees, but it works for selected cryptocurrencies. For other currencies, you must select the bulk withdrawal strategy.

As you can see in the fee chart, transaction fees are flat amounts, unlike processing fees, which are a percentage of the withdrawal amount. For example, whether you withdraw 10 BTC or 100 BTC (in a single attempt), you have to pay only 0.0001 BTC per withdrawal. So, making 10 withdrawals of 10 BTC each will cost you more than withdrawing 100 BTC in a single attempt.

In the first case, you may end up spending 0.001 BTC for withdrawing 100 BTC. While in the second case, you can withdraw the same amount by paying just 0.0001 BTC. So, withdrawing a large amount in a single attempt will reduce your transaction costs on this cryptocurrency payment gateway.

A Few Considerations

  • This strategy may not work outside the CoinRemitter wallet.
  • If your preferred withdrawal type is ‘Auto’, you may not be able to withdraw your preferred amount in a single attempt unless you make withdrawals from the crypto API docs.
  • The withdrawal type is set to ‘Auto’ by default. However, you can change it to ‘Manual’ from the ‘General’ tab of a wallet.
  • You cannot make withdrawals higher than the daily withdrawal limit in any case.

Conclusion

CoinRemitter is a crypto payment gateway with the lowest fee. So, a fee reduction strategy may not be needed for occasional transactions. However, for businesses that regularly accept crypto payments, the Gas Station and bulk withdrawals can be beneficial. This way, business owners can easily expect higher profits.
