<p>Internet users have been warned not to search to a “Don’t google What Dinosaur has 500 Teeth” trick after debilitated Reddit users made a bigoted joke become a web sensation.</p>



<p>The message has been spreading across social media and comes up as one of the web crawler’s autofill ideas.</p>

<p>Redditor bradleypetersen used the quotation mark to make it appear as if the answer was some kind of nasty racial slur.</p>



<p>In actuality, the answer is a Mesozoic <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dinosaur">dinosaur</a> that had 500 teeth and lived 75 to 100 million years ago.</p>



<p>It’s called Diplodocus, which means “large blade.”</p>



<p>Congrats to Reddit user BradleyPetersen, the front runner for 2014’s biggest shitpost.</p>



<p>The subreddit is well known for racist and discriminatory jokes, a 2014 search led to 1,000 illegal aliens on the coast of California.</p>



<p>The same year it discovered a flaw in Apple’s wireless logo that can hack your phone.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>The Mesozoic Era</strong></h2>



<p>The common phrase refers to the age when some of Earth’s biggest beasts roamed the planet.</p>



<p>Scientists have said many of the 500 ancient teeth have not survived the ravages of time.</p>



<p>But there are no shortage of species that have left their mark on the fossil record.</p>



<p>Amongst these are fearsome beasts like the Tyrannosaurus Rex and the Velociraptor.</p>



<p>Other dinosaurs which you can find on Google include Allosaurus, Apatosaurus, Stegosaurus, Brachiosaurus, Spinosaurus and Brachiosaurus.</p>

<p>However, one amateur paleontologist, who has named his new dinosaur Kipchir, has claimed he has found a species which is far more ferocious than any other.</p>



<p>Kipchir has claimed his dinosaur is 500-teeth long and eats meat, not plants.</p>

<p>The fake news story made up about a dinosaur called Sissy has been so popular that its set of own Wiki page has been set up.</p>



<p>It makes no mention of Sissy’s overpriced tusks and the reality is that this is a sick troll.</p>



<p>Popular Reddit user Sam had posted the photo with the answer “don’t google a dinosaur has 500 teeth” and people took up the image like a virus.</p>



<p>Some even suggested that the fable had a note of truth to it, saying “that is what their anatomy looks like”, and a lot of people are taking it as gospel.</p>



<p>Most made “Donald Trump look good” comments, as the source is obviously from the Republican presumptive nominee. There was some joking that Sissy was the Fyre Festival’s party planner.</p>

<p>The message says: “Don’t google ‘Don’t google what dinosaur has 500 teeth’. They have a lot of problems.”</p>



<p>The message has been in circulation for a few days. It has gathered traction since the 11th of August, when a Reddit user posted it in a subreddit about the dinosaurs.</p>



<p>Over the next few days, the post spread from there. It had all the makings of a joke – the rarity of the reference and the offensive nature of the phrase.</p>



<p>However, many of the Reddit users did not understand the joke – and instead treated it as a serious warning.</p>



<p>According to the Guardian, some argued the joke indicated that it was actually a bizzare disease. Especially given the extensive health warnings surrounding the extremely high cancer rate in the main dinosaurs.</p>
