What it’s all about Asus 2-in-1

The Asus 2-in-1, or “convertible” laptop, is all about taking the tablet experience on the go. The Asus 2-in-1 laptop comes in a wide range of different sizes, from an 11.6-inch model with a 360-degree hinge, to a 13-inch with an entirely magnetic keyboard to replace the touch-based keyboard. The design is very similar across all the models, and as the name suggests, the rear hinge acts as a hinge for the laptop.

But there are subtle differences between them too, from the weight of the device to the keyboard that’s attached. It’s a brilliant design, that makes it comfortable to use as a tablet, but the main benefit is that you can fold it into a portable laptop that’s lighter to carry around.

The IPS display is extremely bright and has a decent resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, so it is sharp. There’s also an active stylus that lets you draw and do more with the 2-in-1.

When it comes to specs, there’s plenty here, with options that include Intel’s Core M CPU, either 6th or 7th generation Intel Core processors, an Nvidia GeForce 940MX GPU, either 16GB or 32GB of RAM, and storage of up to 512GB. On the graphics front, there’s an Intel HD Graphics 515 option. There’s also a 4G LTE model available that includes a built-in SIM card and support for unlimited data.

Some important features of Asus 2_in_1

Flip it like a book

There’s an impressive range of capabilities that the Asus 2-in-1 can offer. Using the Windows 10 operating system, you can even watch videos on the fly. Or, if you want to make a call, you can do that too. On top of that, you’ll also be able to multitask, which is a great feature if you’re into watching lots of videos.

And, of course, you’ll be able to take photos, which you can shoot using the rear 12.3MP camera.

Not bad for a tablet that can become a laptop

The big advantage of having the 2-in-1 laptop is the ability to take it with you wherever you go, which is a great feature. The hinge means that you can rest the screen on a table or on your lap, so you’ll be able to do something other than watch videos with the 2-in-1 laptop, and as a result, it’s much better for using it as a tablet than if you use a normal laptop.

Final thoughts for Asus 2_in_1

The Asus 2-in-1 has a lot to offer. If you’re in the market for a tablet that can turn into a laptop, the Asus 2-in-1 is definitely worth considering. Although it’s slightly expensive, with all the different models and configurations available, it’s a fantastic option if you want a highly portable device that lets you do a lot on the move.

Yes, the design looks a little cheap, but don’t be put off by that – it’s actually very light, the battery life is excellent, and it’s a versatile laptop that’s easy to carry around.

The only real downside to the 2-in-1 laptop is the lack of proper ports. It doesn’t come with a full-size USB or a full-size HDMI port, which is a real shame, as it limits the connectivity of the device and is one of the few downsides to a device that’s otherwise extremely versatile.
