One way to solve this problem is through a SIP Trunking Service Provider, also known as an ISP. This type of service will allow for people in your business to not only use their phone numbers but also make and receive calls from anywhere in the world. This is a great solution, but it may also be difficult to get your customers on board. Here are some basic guidelines for establishing a SIP trunk with your ISP:
Step 1 – Determine how many people you want to be able to call. Determine how many people you want to be able to call and how many are currently able to do so. This will indicate in your phone book who can be reached at home and work.
Step 2 – Determine the total number of phones in your business. Determine the total number of phones in your business and their phone numbers. The DST is usually used for the contact center, and the VPT is used for the Internet to Mobile communications (IMS).
